At Caesar Homes, we understand that Building New Home can be a daunting thought on understanding where to start or what to do next – so to help make it easy we have a step by step proven framework to take you through that ends with handing you the keys to your new home.

Step One

Exploration

We need to understand and capture the wants and needs of your new home. What features are important to you and where you would love to live.

Step Two

House Design & Site Visit

If your section is unknown, we will explore options in the area you want to build. We look over plans to customise a layout to meet your requirements and budget.

Step Three

Initial House Specification & Pricing

The goal should be to present you with the first draft house plan, with proposed position on the section and a price estimate.

Step Four

Specifications & Contract Price

You will be presented with a modified plan and estimated build price. At this stage, most builders get a preliminary drafting deposit and signed agreements to carry out any site investigations.

Step Five

Build Contract Signing

You will be presented with the concept architectural plans, fixed-price quote & specifications for sign-off.  We will go through a comprehensive list of everything that will be included. You would make any final changes here to prepare for the contract.

Step Six

Consent & Permits

We will meet for contract signing. We recommend you to have you layer review the building contract. The contract also sets out the payment schedule or you may hav agreed to another finance option such as a Turn Key.

Step Seven

Colour and Kitchen Consultation

We arrange for our interior designer and kitchen consultant to meet with you and help choose colours, functionality and finishing items. This is your opportunity to personalise your new home.

Step Eight

Construction Begins

Your building company oversees the entire build, with a carefully planned project plan in place, coordinating with all the suppliers and contractors to complete your development to a high standard and within agreed timeframe.

Step Nine

Final Sign off by Council & Handover Keys

Once we have finished the build, final sign off for building work is done by the council inspector with Code Compliance Certificate (CCC). This usually takes around four weeks from that point.
